Hello
My name is Audrey Anderson. I'm a senior at Northeastern University studying Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Spanish, graduating in December 2027. This fall I'm taking Dynamics, Material Science, and ME Computation and Design. I've completed two co-ops during my time at Northeastern. My first was at SharkNinja, where I worked in Research and Development to help develop the ChillPill fan, and my second was at Lithios, where I helped scale electrochemical systems for selective lithium extraction.
I'm also a member of Generate, Northeastern's student-led product development studio, where I designed the whisking subsystem for an automated matcha machine. I currently work at the Northeastern Makerspace, where I support students with tools and equipment ranging from sewing machines to CNC routers. I also lead tours, workshops, and hands-on training sessions. Outside of engineering, I like to play pickleball, travel, and continue learning Spanish.
My Story
I’ve always loved solving puzzles and building things, but it wasn’t until I took my first engineering course in high school that I realized I could turn that interest into a career. I have always enjoyed turning an idea into something tangible through CAD, prototyping and design. Engineering quickly became something I could see myself doing every day without it feeling like work. Now, as a Mechanical Engineering student at Northeastern University, I’m looking for a Spring 2027 co-op, with a focus on product development, where I can bring that same curiosity and hands-on approach to real-world projects.
